Want to talk about a new norm? An intimate and small wedding is the new trend. The reason for this is not always that it is easier on the wallet. Dennis and Elizabeth opted for a more intimate wedding celebration in Stampriet. With this decision they could have some quality face-to-face time with each of the family and friends that were there. It was such a relaxed and casual vibe. Guests stayed at their family’s guest house, walking distance to the beautiful little church.

There were so many ways they made this intimate wedding in Stampriet unique by adding their own special details. Everyone put in a helping hand to setup the church and reception area. Within the small community in Stampriet they had many friends that pitched in to make this day memorable. Kudos to everyone that made this wedding so beautiful! You made my job super-easy to do! I really had such an enjoyable time capturing every moment of how this wedding day unfolded.

What I absolutely loved about this intimate wedding in Stampriet was that extra mile that the family walked to make the day special. The dad was the reverend that married his own daughter. The sister made the bride and bridesmaid’s dressed and a brother-in-law made a success out of a traditional spit-braai.

Due to travel restrictions and covid regulations, not all of the family could attend the wedding.  It was still beautiful and above all, a Christ-centred wedding.  I know you guys will have the best time together as husband and wife!

The Groom:

The groom scrubbed up rather good as well! The men got dressed just around the corner from the ladies in a friend’s house. The night before the wedding, all the guys enjoyed quality fellowship time around a campfire. To round it all off, it was on a red Kalahari sand dune with the most amazing sunset and clear skies. What else can you ask for!

The Ceremony:

The ceremony was so full of emotion. There is something so special when a father, who is also the reverend, conducts the service and hands his daughter over to her husband-to-be. The bride also could not take her eyes of her handsome groom!

Intimate Couple Session:

This intimate couple photo session in Stampriet was more than a dream to me. The couple were so relaxed, easy-going, and fun that it made capturing these moments a joy!
