If their pre-wedding photos was anything to go by, then their wedding photos would be just as amazing. This was exactly the case with Nico and Jaqueline. Friends and family came together make this a memorable day. When everyone gives a hand with setting things up, you know they are invested in the wedding and that there will indeed be an amazing celebration!
Muellerhof just outside Keetmanshoop in Southern Namibia was the venue of choice for these two. The Namibian sun held up to its reputation by delivering loads of sunshine and heat on the day, however, the evening was cool and perfect weather for the outdoor wedding. This venue has the most amazing surroundings that makes it a dream for photographers. We had a smorgasbord of options when it came to the time for couple photos!
Both Nico and Jaqueline looked the part! Wow! They complimented each other beautifully on the day. It was so much fun capturing their special day and I pray a blessed married life together for them. Jaqueline’s dress was a last-minute choice from the Bridal Boutique in Windhoek. It was the perfect choice and complimented her perfectly.
Nico got ready at Maritz Lodge just outside of Keetmanshoop on the way to South Africa. I can highly recommend this venue for a mid-way stop-over for travellers. The guys were more than happy for a quick photo session just to get out of those suits and under the air-conditioning again!
Below are a few select photos from their wedding day. Have a quick look at their engagement photos HERE if you have not done so yet.

Nico and the boys scrubbed up at Maritz Lodge, just outside of Keetmanshoop. It was touch and go for the groom’s suit was still on its way from the capital city, Windhoek! Fortunately, it arrived just in time, and we were able to capture some great images with the guys
The ceremony wat held at Muellerhoff Guest Farm under a large, shaded tree. Everyone was thankful for the shade! 38 Degree Celsius is no joke! Jacqueline looked absolutely stunning while walking down the aisle. Everyone’s eyes were fixed on the bride!
Intimate Couple Session:
There were so many options to capture couple photos, but we had to settle with just a few otherwise we would have missed the reception! Some old ruins, a riverbed covered with lush, green trees and a railway track was the choice of the day. It was the perfect choice, and the images tell the story.
All I can say is… Under The Stars! The couple could not have asked for a better evening to have an open-air ceremony! What a great way to end of the celebrations!
